Authorities to provide services in Bogota for returned migrants

Authorities plan to open an office in Bogota to provide aid to Colombians migrants who have returned to their homeland after living overseas.

The program is a joint initiative of the Bogota Mayor’s Office, the International Migration Organization and the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Relations.

They plan to formulate a public migration policy that provides services to migrants returning to Colombia who don’t have work or family links in Bogota.

Services will include social and legal advice, help with finding work, study and projects.
