Authorities seize properties of ‘Comba’

Colombia’s National Police and investigators of the Prosecution seized
property of Luiz Enrique Calle Serna alias ‘Comba’, allegedly the new
big drug lord in the country.

The Money Laundering Unit of the Prosecution and of the National Police seized 70 properties and five cars with a total value of 24 billion pesos, or US$10
million mostly in the south west of Colombia, El Tiempo reported Wednesday.

The operation is the first time authorities try hurting the finances of ‘Comba’, who they say now is the capo of Colombian drug trafficking and is held responsible for all export of drugs on Colombia’s Pacific Coast.

According to the Police, ‘Comba’ became strong in the drug business after the capture of ‘Don Diego’ and the death of ‘Jabón’. He allegedly runs all the drug trafficking on Colombia’s pacific coast.
