Colombian authorities say they killed the leader of illegal armed group
Nueva Generación (New Generation) in the south western Nariño department, bordering Ecuador.
John Jairo García Ordóñez, a.k.a. El Nene, was shot dead by police Peñol, Police commander Fernando Jiménez Cerón told W Radio Monday.
García was wanted for kidnapping, murder, extortion and drug trafficking.
