Authorities arrest ‘Los Rastrojos’ leader

 

Authorities in south west Colombia say they arrested Carlos Alirio
‘El Negro Douglas’ Gómez Mosquera, the alleged boss of the hitmen of drug gang ‘Los Rastrojos’.

‘El Negro Douglas’ was arrested on the La Florida airport of Tumaco, Nariño, on the Pacific coast.

The alleged gangster was wanted for kidnapping and the illegal carrying of weapons reserved to the Armed Forces.

Two men who were accompanying the gangster and his alleged bodyguards were arrested too. They are suspected of being involved in a number of murders and extortions in Tumaco in the recent months.
