Colombian singer Andres Cabas is to release a new album which, he says, will “unite the joy of his Caribbean roots with the simplicity and sobriety of having grown up in Bogota and traveled the world.”
Recorded in a Buenos Aires studio, the new album includes collaborations with Argentine ska-rocker Vicentico and Spanish hip-hop singer Mala Rodriguez.
In an interview with El Tiempo, Cabas says songs on the new album were inspired by changes in his private life, including the birth of his son, Simon.
He told El Tiempo: “The moment that most fills you with light, is the darkness, the grey. This album was made to take people from this state and carry them into the light.”
