The two deceased were meeting three other policemen when what is presumed a rocket launched by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) killed them.Despite the attack, the situation in Bajo Cauca seems to be improving. Spokesmen of the local coca farmers have been meeting with the authorities of the municipality, a delegate from the Ministry of Agriculture and delegates from Acnur and Dapard. Thus far the government didn’t want to talk to the hundreds of protesting farmers.
