Former Colombian soccer star ‘Tino’ Asprilla robbed

The luxurious estate of Faustino “Tino” Asprilla, the controversial former Colombian soccer player, was robbed while he was in Medellin for the Madonna concert, reported local media.

According to El Espectador, a group of armed burglars broke into Faustino “Tino” Asprilla’s farm, affectionately called “San Tino,” and robbed the place blind. The robbers allegedly took not only the expensive stereos, jewlery, art, and TVs, but the security guards’ weapons and communication equipment as well. The total amount of the stolen property has yet to be divulged.

Tino was not at his estate in Tulua, located in western Colombia in the Valle del Cauca department, because reportedly he was in Medellin getting ready to attend a Madonna concert that is scheduled for Wednesday night.

No arrests have been made.
