Spanish guitarist Pepe Romero to perform in Medellin

Spanish guitar master Pepe Romero will play in Medellin on August 27 at the Metropolitan Theater, announced the Colombian event site PlanB.com.

The guitarist will perform the works of famed classical composers Luys Milan, Gaspar Sanz, Fernando Sor, Francisco Tarrega, Joaquin Rodrigo, Celendonio Romero, Federico M. Torroba, Joaquin Turina and Isaac Albeniz.

Pepe Romero gave his first concert at the Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville, Spain at the age of seven. He spent the next fifty years performing in festivals and concert halls all over the world.

The guitarist has been invited to play at the White House and the Vatican.

Catch his music in Medellin at the Jose Gutierrez Metropolitan Theater August 27 at 6PM.
