Smashing Pumpkins to rock Bogota

U.S. rock veterans included Colombia’s capital Bogota in their “Teargarden by Kaleidyscope” tour.

According to Bogota event organizer Evenpro, the band will play in the capital’s Campin stadium on November 27.

The band, who enjoyed great “alternative” popularity in the first half of the 1990s, start their world tour in Jakarta on Friday and will travel to New Zealand and Australia before hitting the South American continent for gigs in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Lima and ultimately Colombia.

Odd fact: the band’s website says the November 27 gig will be at the Coliseo Campan, Bogata, Columbia.
