The approval rating of Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos has remained stable at 50%, pollster Gallup said Thursday.

According to the pollster, Colombia’s support for the president is widely divided as 47% of those interviewed said to disapprove of the president. Three percent of the polled said to not know.

The president’s low approval rating is mostly due to popular disapproval of the government’s policies in regards to healthcare, public security, unemployment and the fight against leftist guerrilla groups.

The Santos administration’s peace talks with the FARC does receive the approval of 70% of the interviewed Colombians, said Gallup.

The Colombian president has seen his approval rating drop steadily in all four of Colombia’s pollsters since taking office in August 2010.
