Moby to bring his ambient sounds to Bogota

Moby, the American star of ambient electronica, announced that he will be playing a concert in Bogota as part of his ongoing South American tour, reported Vive on Tuesday.

The tour is to promote his recent album “Wait For Me,” released last year, and will play in Chile, Argentina and Brazil before reaching the Colombian capital.

This show will be the DJ and singer’s first trip to the country since his Bogota show in 2005, which drew an impressive crowd of trance and ambient music fans.

This year’s show is set to take place on May 1 at an as yet unconfirmed location in Colombia’s capital city.
