Mariana Pajon eats it at Winter Nationals

Olympic champion Mariana Pajon on Saturday fell off her bike at the Winter Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona.

According to reports, Pajon is doing fine and only suffered minor cuts and scrapes. She did, however, come in a disappointing eighth place in her heat.

Olympic bronze medalist Carlos Mario Oquendo also ate pavement. The effects of his fall, though, will last a bit longer. Oquendo broke his collar bone and was forced to quit the competition and return to Medellin Sunday night.

According to reports, the gold medal-winning BMX rider, Mariana Pajon, has rejoined the United States-based Dan’s Comp Race Team along with the Colombian National team trainer, German Medina.
