Junior manager gets five-match ban after insults

Atletico Junior manager Julio Comesana has been handed a five-match
suspension following his misbehavior in the first leg of the Copa
Mustang I final against Once Caldas.

The Uruguayan reportedly insulted the referee for allowing a goal that appeared to have been scored from an off-side position.

“Julio Comesa was sent off for using gross and insulting language against the referee and after his dismissal he entered the pitch and abused him with vulgar words and offensive terms about his person,” said the disciplinary commission.

The referee wasn’t let off the hook either for his mistakes, and won’t be officiating for the next five matches.

Once Caldas wothe mamatch 2-1 and went on to win the second leg 3-1 for a 5-2 aggregate result.
