Grenade explodes in north-Colombia bar: 1 dead, 27 injured

Unknown men threw a grenade into a bar in the northern Colombian city of Barrancabermeja Saturday, killing one and injuring 27

According to media reports, two men on a motorcycle passed the establishment and threw the grenade.

Following the attack, authorities started a search for the perpetrators. Police offer a $5,500 award for information leading to the attackers.

Barrancabermeja is located in the Magdalena Medio region and one of the most important cities for Colombia’s oil industry.
