ELN boss Vidal ‘Ernesto’ Manosalva Niño captured

‘Ernesto’ was wanted for kidnapping, extortion and rebellion. “This man was behind the Strategic Command of the ELN. Because of his direct links with organized crime he obtained information on possible abductees,” said Police chief Humberto Guatibonza.The assumed commander of the Edgar Amilkar Grimaldo Baron front was captured in  Villa de Rosario, Norte de Santander, close to the Venezuelan border. ‘Ernesto’ is held responsible for the abduction of the son of a former judge, who still is held captive by the ELN.
