Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley brings his riddims to Bogota

Reggae legend and multi-Grammy award winner Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, son of beloved Bob Marley, will be performing in Bogota on November 7.

During November, Marley will be on his grand tour of South America and visiting Colombia for the very first time. In Bogota he will be playing an open-air concert at Castillo Marroquin that starts at 1PM, and promises to feature food, fun, and surprise special guests.

Damian Marley’s music isn’t just characterized by reggae riddims, but in fact carries with it dancehall beats, R&B, hip-hop, and the sound of the streets. His music has reached those who loved Bob Marley in the 1970’s, as well as cultivated thousands of new fans all over the world.

Jr. Gong came onto the musical scene 15 years ago with his first album “Mr. Marley,” and won his first Grammy 10 years ago with his second album “Halfway Tree.” He put his name on the charts as a contemporary reggae master with his 2005 hit album “Welcome to Jamrock,” and has been recently on tour with rapper Nas for their collaboration album “Distant Relatives.”

General admission tickets are available for $64 and VIP tickets for $94 dollars via TuBoleta.com. The event is 18+.
