Colombia’s armed forces said on Monday that they have discovered a cocaine lab with the capacity of producing more than 2 tons of cocaine per month.

The laboratory was found in Puerto Lopez, a municipality in the central Meta state where the Air Force and the Navy were carrying out a counter-narcotics offensive.

The lab was found in a camp containing 11 tents.

According to the authorities, the lab had the monthly capacity of producing drugs with a market value of $60 million.
