Former Colombian football team captain Carlos Valderrama announced on Thursday that he will by dying his hair pink for charity.
Carlos Valderrama, nicknamed “El Pibe” (The Kid) is as famous for his iconic blonde afro as he is for his footballing skills.
The former Colombian captain will dye his hair pink when he joins a walk against breast cancer, scheduled for September 8 in Bogota.
While he walks in Bogota, thousands of woman will also be walking to raise awareness about the disease in cities throughout Colombia.
