Camilo Villegas’ uncle shot dead

The uncle of Colombian golfer Camilo Villegas was shot and killed Saturday after thieves tried to rob his business.

Ernesto Villegas Zuluaga, 56, was killed when two armed men entered
his coffee trading enterprise demanding money and he jumped on one of
them, according to senior Caldas state official Henry Murillo.

Relatives say Camilo Villegas is flying home to Colombia for the burial of his uncle, who was also his godfather.

Camilo Villegas became the first Colombian to win a PGA tournament when he captured the BMW Championship in September. (AP)
