Brazil name strong squad to face Colombia

Brazil announced Tuesday a strong 21-man squad to face Colombia in an international soccer friendly in the U.S. on November 14.

Star striker Neymar, who was recently nominated for the Ballon d’Or award, is joined by Real Madrid midfield maestro Kaka, Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk and Chelsea’s promising playmaker Oscar, who are all in line to feature against Los Cafeteros.

The match will be played at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and commemorates the 1,000th game played by Brazil.

The last time the two South American teams met was in 2008 when they played out a 0-0 draw.

Fans in New Jersey will be hoping for a much livelier contest this time around and there is no reason why there should not be plenty of goals as both teams have hit the net for fun in their last two games with Brazil notching 10 goals and Colombia five.
