1400 families displaced by Cordoba flood

Some 1,400 families were forced to leave their homes in the south of
Cordoba after heavy rains caused the Son Jorge river to flood.

The displaced all were from Montelibano, Puerto Libertador, La Apartada and Buenavista, municipalities close to the border with the Antioquia department.

Most families were able to find shelter on dry ground or in the homes of family members or friends. There are no reports of deaths or injuries.
