Alleged FARC guerilla captured

DAS reported capture of Franklin Mosquera Hinestroza alias ‘Gordo’ in Quibdo, department Choco. He is an alleged member of the FARC’s Front 34.

‘Gordo’ is responsible for collecting extortions and was captured when he delivered the collected money to Edison Tapias Maquilón alias ‘Chaverra’, second leader of the finance committee of the front 34 of the FARC.

The intelligence service also suspects him of the explosive attack in a shop in Quibdo which occured on 19 April.

‘Gordo’ is arrested for the crimes of rebellion, terrorism and criminal conspiracy.
