Al Jazeera’s 50-minute documentary on Colombia’s peace talks

Qatar news outlet Al Jazeera released a 50-minute documentary on the ongoing armed conflict and peace talks in Colombia.

In the documentary, journalist Rodrigo Vasquez talks to government negotiators, FARC commanders taking part in peace talks, members of the military, demobilized FARC and paramilitary commanders, and victims.

Additionally, the journalist was given access to film guerrillas and commanders of the ELN’s Eastern Front, which is currently engaged in a series of offensives against oil companies and the military while the leadership of Colombia’s second largest rebel group is exploring the possibilities for peace with the government.
