70 National University employees quarantined over flu suspicion

At least seventy employees of Bogota’s National University, the
biggest university in Colombia, were quarantined on suspicion of being
infected with the AH1N1 virus. It is the largest group of suspected
cases in the country so far.

All suspected cases are treated in isolation and monitored at home, the university announced through a press release.

According to a source within the University that was consulted by W Radio, authorities expect security about the patients Saturday or Sunday already.

So far, Colombia counts 73 confirmed cases of AH1N1. Two patients died from the flu.
