3 die in early morning traffic accidents in Bogota

At least three people have died in early morning traffic collisions early Friday morning in Colombia’s capital, Caracol Radio reported.

According to reports, a 38-year-old cyclist crashed into a tractor in the Patio Bonito neighborhood in the west of Bogota. The rider was rushed to the Clinica del Occidente hospital, but died from their injuries at 1AM.

A motorcycle carrying two people collided with a transit bus in the north of the city near the Avenida Suba and Cali intersection. The driver of the motorcycle was killed at the scene of the accident while the passenger was sent to a nearby hospital, but died as well.
