The 17th annual Bogota International Poetry Festival kicked off in Colombia’s capital Tuesday.
The festival, which runs over 6 days, will showcase national and international poetry through a series of recitals and literary workshops.
It will begin with a collection of children’s poetry recitals.
It features a tribute to celebrated Colombian poet Alvaro
Miranda as well as poetry from the guest country Venezuela.
The festival will travel from Bogota to Cali, Cartagena,
Villavicencio, Fusagasugá and Ibagué.
