15 bodies found in bombed FARC camp

Colombian authorities have recovered 15 bodies from a bombed FARC camp, reported local media Tuesday.

This follows an operation by the Colombian Air Force and the National Police on Monday, during which security forces targeted the 5th Front of the FARC in the municipality of Chigorodo, Antioquia.

Colombia’s Air Force stated that the 5th Front’s second in command, “Mayerli,” was wounded during the operation.

Authorities “seized abundant war material,” which included a shotgun, twelve rifles, and military intelligence.
