Jane’s Addiction to play in Bogota in October

Famous 1990’s American rock band Jane’s Addiction, known for pioneering the ‘Alternative Rock’ genre, is coming to Colombia’s capital city Bogota this October.

The band will be playing in Bogota on October 17, marking their first trip to Colombia during their inaugural Latin America tour.

The band, which was ranked number 35 in on VH1’s, “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock,” is known for rock songs such as, “The Mountain Song,” “Been Caught Stealing,” and “Jane Says.”

Band members currently include originals, Perry Farrell (Vocals),  Stephen Perkins (Drums), and Dave Navarro (Guitar), with the addition of Chris Chaney on Bass.

A new album will be coming out soon according to news site Terra Online, and the debut single of the album has already stirred up excitement among fans.

The concert will take place Thursday, October 17 at the Royal Center Theater in Bogota.  Tickets are available at TuBoleta.com.
