Zidane and Batistuta to shine at Bogotá friendly

by Jonathan Roorda October 23, 2008
902

A large amount of famous footballers from the recent past will be
making their appearance at a charity match in Bogotá organised by Colombian
legend Carlos ‘El Pibe’ Valderrama on November 26th.

Valderrama organises the event on behalf of the ‘Todo Bien, Todo Bien’ foundation, and has managed to attract several high profile names. Top of the list is undoubtedly former Juventus and Real Madrid playmaker Zinedine Zidane.

The Frenchman will be joined by other legends such as Enzo Francescoli, Jorge Campos, Álex Aguinaga, Sergio Goicoechea, Gabriel Batistuta and Marcelo Balboa.

Colombia will deliver its own share of football greats, with names as Leonel Álvarez, Faustino Asprilla, René Higuita, Adolfo Valencia, Jorge Bermúdez and Víctor Aristizábal all joining Valderrama.

Tickets are available at TuBoleta.com, but do note that since it is charity, you will be seeing the bottom of your wallet when buying your entrance.
