Colombia’s princess of pop gets ready to return to the limelight with a concert in New York, followed by a trip back to Los Angeles to reclaim her throne on NBC’s “The Voice.”

Shakira will light up New York City’s Bryant Park this Wednesday with a concert sponsored by T-Mobile as part of the “Uncarrier Revolution” marketing campaign.  She is expected to sing all of her greatest hits including “Waka Waka,” “Hips Don’t Lie,” and “Whenever, Wherever.”

On Sunday she tweeted a picture from the rehearsal for Wednesday’s concert, which will be her first performance since January.

After the concert and spending some time in New York, the Barranquilla-native will leave the Big Apple and jet across the United States to Los Angeles in order to reclaim her  judges chair and begin working on Season 6 of NBC’s “The Voice.”  Season 5 of the popular vocal reality show just premiered on September 23.

Shakira has been working hard since the birth of her child, Milan, to release her eighth studio album, expected at the end of this year.
