‘We must remain humble’: Colombia’s midfielder

Colombian midfielder Gustavo Bolviar has called on his team to remain humble after placing first in their group and advancing to the quarterfinals of the Copa America, Caracol Radio reported Tuesday.

“It is very important to stay humble and keep our feet on the ground.”

After not conceding a single goal in their three group games, Colombia have a reason to be proud. Bolivar acknowledged team morale is high, but explained that the team has already been feeling great for a few months.

Left wingback Juan Cuadrado said that the team is focusing on the games ahead, although their upcoming opponents are currently unknown. He did express how proud he was of his team when he said “the whole world knows the great players we have.”
