Waiting for the new Shakira? Here she is

by Adriaan Alsema June 18, 2009

Colombia news - Alisson Orozco

Many are waiting for Colombia’s biggest superstar, Shakira, to release her
new album. But while you’re not really doing anything, you may as well
check out Alisson Orozco, in Colombia already called the new Shakira.

Little is known about the pretty girl, she’s allegedly 15 years old and from Valledupar in the north east of Colombia.

She only recently finished her first album ‘Solo para ti’ (Just for you) on Discos Fuentes, Colombia’s legendary record label, that hasn’t even had the time to finish her website before this article was published.

Her first single is out and is called ‘El Despertador’ (the alarm clock) and, looking at this amateur recording of Alisson, she even speaks English.

So go ahead, enjoy Alisson while she’s still less famous than Shakira.
