Vast majority of Colombians supports peace process: Poll

The vast majority of Colombians supports a peace process with the FARC initiated by President Juan Manuel Santos, whose personal approval rating coincidentally increased six percentage points and is now at 72%, a poll released Friday said.

The CNC poll confirmed a Gallup poll published last week that showed Santos’ approval ratings have stopped plummeting and are now trending upwards. In this week’s poll, Santos’ approval rating climbed six percentage points from 66% last month to 72% in September.
