Valerie Dominguez could be new Miss Universe commentator for Caracol station

Former beauty queen Valerie Dominguez could be new Miss Universe commentator for the Caracol television channel, despite embezzlement charge, according a little birdie at Sweet.

According to the Colombian television-network-grapevine, Caracol are seriously thinking about taking on the actress and former Miss Colombia and are in talks with her manager despite being indicted on July 1 and charged with embezzlement and falsifying documents.

Miss Universe 2006 finalist numero siete lost loads of contracts when it was revealed that she was involved in the AIS agricultural subsidy scandal.  Dominguez allegedly accepted $173,000 meant for poor, rural farmers, despite being poor, rural or a farmer.

If hired, Vals would co-host with Catalina Gomez and Jorge Alfredo Vargas.
