The President denounced that the guerrilla commanders continue to order murders and maintain their drug trafficking businesses, while “cowardly” hiding from Colombian authorities.
“The pose abroad as being poets and intellectuals, these cowardly criminals. Why don’t they come to the country?,” he said at a public meeting.
“Where are Mr. Garcia, Mr. Gabino, Mr. Beltran? All those bandits that are believed of god families. All those perfumed bandits are abroad. Cowards. The gangs here that depend on them are killing Colombians and trafficking Colombian cocaine,” the President added.
Uribe vowed to seek their arrest, also outside Colombian borders.
