Uribe calls on the world to open its eyes about the FARC

“The world should see what happened to Planadas. What happened here. Let everyone who still has doubts about the terrorist nature of the FARC, come here. ‘Why the FARC are terrorists?’ you hear in Europe. Because they implanted a regime of terror here. They enslaved the entire community for forty years,” Uribe said after hearing antipersonnel mines seriously injured 95 army soldiers in the town in the past year.During his speech Uribe referred several times to the urgency his message reaches Europe, where Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa is making a tour at the moment.Uribe has accused neighbor Ecuador of supported the FARC several times.
