Uribe calls on neighbors to fight terrorism together

“Let our brothers help us, our brothers in the international community, our neighboring countries, so the Colombians can live without violence, without terrorism,” Uribe said after one of the last gatherings before the official opening of the OAS meeting.The Colombian President asked the support of “all countries of the continent”. “Those who had discussions with us. Help us,” he said before a group of prominent businessmen, diplomats and politicians in Medellín.Uribe hopes he can “tell our brothers and neighboring countries we want harmony with them and that the only thing we ask is reflection, so that they help us with full determination to defeat terrorism,” during the 38th summit of the OAS General Assembly, to be held from 1 to June 3.
