Two soldiers killed and five wounded in combat with FARC

Two soldiers died and five were wounded by an explosion in combat with
alleged FARC guerrillas in the Nariño department Wednesday night.

The Army patrol surprised a rebel who tried to blow up a pipeline, local media reported.

Authorities attribute the attack to the 48th front of the FARC.
