Two die in Ibagué storm

Authorities in the city of Ibagué, Tolima declared an orange alert
Wednesday after a heavy, six hour storm killed two and destroyed many houses.

The two deadly victims were killed when the heavy winds made the 20-year-old mother and son fall into the river Chicha. Rescue workers have not been able to recover their body yet, Caracol Radio reported Thursday.

The storm damaged houses all over the city and completely destroyedseven houses in the Topacio neghborhood.
