Transport sector announces strike

Colombia’s transport sector threatens to go on strike if the Government
does not lower the price of fuel, Noticias Caracol reported Sunday.

Unions of both public transport and the logistics sector claim the Government is maintaining an oil price that is higher than the international standards and that this is affecting their activity.

The unions said they will pull over their buses and trucks on April 21, unless the Government talks to them to find a solution.
