Bus crash kills 2, injures 3 in northern Colombia

Brakes malfunctioned in a fatal bus crash that injured three and killed two in the northern department of Santander Wednesday.

According to witnesses, the bus was parked on a hill when the brakes gave out and it began rolling down the hill towards the main square in the town of San Vincente de Chucuri. It ran over two people who lost their lives and injured three others before it crashed into a marketplace.

The injured bystanders remain in the hospital and police are working to remove the two deceased men who have yet to be identified.
