Deportes Tolima are through to the semi finals of the Colombian Liga Postobon following a 4-2 aggregate win over Cucuta Deportivo.
After winning the first leg 3-1 away from home, Tolima had a rather comfortable lead to defend at their own stadium in Ibague this Saturday.
But Cucuta had different plans as the visiting side opened the scoring through Santiago Malano in the very first minute.
The away side continued to push for a second goal, which would send the tie to extra time.
But Cucuta were not helped by a second yellow card to Breitner Bonilla in the 75th minute, and Tolima took advantage in the dying seconds as Wilmer Parra made it 1-1 to decide the clash.
In the semi finals, Tolima face either Deportivo Cali or Atletico Nacional. Those two teams play their return leg on Tuesday.
