Titularizadora Colombiana to sell COP250 billion in bonds

The Colombian mortgage-securitization company Titularizadora Colombiana plans to sell COP250 billion (US$124 million) in mortgage-backed bonds Friday, it said in an ad published in La Republica.

Titularizadora will sell bonds backed by performing residential loans from local banks Bancolombia SA and Banco Davivienda, which is controlled by financial holding company Sociedades Bolivar SA.

The bonds will mature in 10 years and will pay a fixed rate, the company said.

Since its creation in 2002, Titularizadora has sold almost COP10 trillion in securities backed by performing and non-performing mortgages. (Dow Jones)
