deserter from the guerrilla group said Friday.

A FARC deserter who was part of the security detail of Manuel Marulanda Vélez, a.k.a. ‘Tirofijo’, said Friday that the body of the guerrilla group’s co-founder was taken to Venezuela after he died of a heart attack in March.
