Colombia school bus crash kills 2 children and driver

A driver and two children have died after a school bus lost control following heavy rains in central Colombia.

Seven other children were injured when the bus rolled down a large divide in the road while traveling towards Boyaca, .

Boyaca authorities believe the road gave way due to large amounts of rain that began in mid-March, according to local media.

Since the rainy season began last month there have been 19 deaths, 60,000 left homeless, and numerous departments affected, reported Colombia’s Office of National Risk Management.
