Two killed, 20 wounded in Bogotá attack

Two people were killed and some twenty more wounded Tuesday night in
what police and emergency officials are calling a terrorist attack in a
Bogotá video rental store.

Early reports from the scene mention explosions that may have detonated from a car bomb near a Blockbuster movie rental outlet in carrera 9 with 81st street.

Five cars were also destroyed in what witnesses said may have originated near an automatic cash machine in the popular area around the Andino mall.

The region has been under threat for attack, reports indicate. Possibly 20 people were wounded. The wounded were taken to local emergency clinics.

Confusion followed the blast and Colombian media outlets reported more information will follow.
