Three die in Valledupar explosion

Three people were killed and another nine injured in an explosion at a police station in Valledupar, in the east of Colombia Monday. Police assume it was an accident.

One of the deadly victims was a police official, the other was a women who, according to the local authorities, was reporting the theft of a motorbike.

Authorities deny the explosion was an attack and are investigating if there may have been an accident with an explosive that was being handled by police officers inside the station.
