With Fall vacation and the end of the year fast approaching, consumers in Colombia will have the opportunity on Friday to purchase cheap tickets to the United States, reported travel website Viajar on Thursday.

Thanks to Prime Outlet Tourism USA, the service will be available from 10am – 10pm from the Chico Museum in northern Bogota.

The company claims that there will be discounts up to 30% on airplane tickets, car rental, cruises and hotel bookings.

Monica Ramirez, director of the Colombian tourism committee, Visit USA, explained that the “promotions are intended to be available to everyone”, in particular those who have not had the chance to visit the United States due to their impression of it being too expensive.

Ramirez also indicated that “customers will leave with the whole package”, meaning all-inclusive airfare, car rental, hotel booking and tickets into various tourist attractions.

The participating travel companies will include American Airlines, Royal Caribbean and Disney. The offers will be valid until December 2009 with discounts to Orlando, Dallas, New York, Miami and Las Vegas.
