Thieves steal Supreme Court judge’s computer

A group of men, dressed as electricity workers, stormed a Bogotá
residential compound, broke into the home of a supreme court judge and
stole his computer.

The judge, Augusto Ibanez, was one of the Supreme Court judges to be working on important cases like the involvement of paramilitaries in congress, the alleged government bribing of former congresswoman Yidis Medina and possible links between congressmen and the FARC.

The judge wasn’t home at the time, but n employee of the judge was attacked and left gagged and bound.

The police told the Supreme Court the attack may have been a mistake and the burglars were targetting the house of a neighbor, who was one of the lovers of extradited drug lord ‘Chupeta’.
