Guardian newspaper searches for best Colombian literature

British newspaper The Guardian is featuring Colombia on its World Literature Tour, seeking books that capture the essence of the country.

The tour is looking for a wide variety of literature, from novels and plays to works of poetry and non-fiction, whether they are published in English or yet to be translated.

The search is not limited to Colombian writers as the paper is also “looking for books about the Colombian experience from writers who were only passing through.”

Readers can vote online for their favorite works of literature about Colombia, as well as vote for the next country the paper will feature on their World Literature Tour.
